Dear Customer,
Happy new year! Yes it is time to examine your Rhododendron & Shrub requirements for spring 2004. Our crop of Rhododendrons is looking great having made two flushes of growth this season giving you a bushy well rounded plant with a distinctive lush green field grown foliage colour. Most varieties are forming flower buds well and will be ready for lifting and potting from April. We anticipate having plants available from May onwards. Some varieties listed are in short supply and I encourage you to order early as orders will be supplied on a first in basis and some people were disappointed last year when placing their orders late.
Last year we did a freight free deal on indent stock which worked well for our customers and us. It encouraged customers to have stock earlier and many sold these plants and needed more stock. It also spread our dispatch time making spring dispatch more manageable. This year we are offering Freight paid by Blue Mountain Nurseries on plants (except trees) dispatched during the months of April, May, June, and July for consignments over $500.00, sent to areas Rangiora south and paid by the 20th of the month following delivery.
We grow a wide range of Rhododendrons (300+ varieties per year) however we don't grow all of these in wholesale numbers. We do encourage you to draw on our stocks of these lines to fill your retail orders. Therefore if you have any questions regarding availability or information about a particular variety please contact us.
All the best for the upcoming autumn selling season. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Regards, Chris Hughes, Denis Hughes
