Cornus Capitata Silver Lining
A wonderful variegated Cornus which like its parent, has creamy flower bracts and red fruit. This new Cornus spent 5 years in trial before a world-wide release by Blue Mountain Nurseries in 2003. It has been one of our best sellers ever since. The silvery foliage is at its best in the height of summer through to autumn. The new tip growth often has a pink blush. This specimen makes an ideal small garden tree. Like all Cornus capitata, a reliable supply of moisture, especially during summer, is advised. In the late autumn to early winter the large strawberry like fruits make a visual display and are also attractive to birds. Ht. 6m x 3m. Trim to shape. Plant Variety Rights applied for.
